Overview
The International Graduates in Demand Stream is designed to retain recent international graduates working in designated high-demand occupations in Nova Scotia.
Who This Stream Is For
This pathway is suitable for applicants who:
- Graduated from an eligible Nova Scotia institution
- Are employed in a designated occupation
- Hold a permanent, full-time job offer
Eligible Occupations (Designated NOCs)
- NOC 32102 – Paramedical occupations
- NOC 32124 – Pharmacy technicians
- NOC 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
- NOC 42202 – Early childhood educators and assistants
Key Eligibility Requirements
- Eligible Nova Scotia education completed within the required timeframe
- Job offer in one of the designated NOCs
- Wage meeting provincial standards
- Language proficiency meeting program requirements
Application Process
- Confirm education and occupation eligibility
- Review job offer and employer documentation
- Submit NSNP application
- Apply for permanent residence after nomination
