Overview

The International Graduates in Demand Stream is designed to retain recent international graduates working in designated high-demand occupations in Nova Scotia.

Who This Stream Is For

This pathway is suitable for applicants who:

  • Graduated from an eligible Nova Scotia institution
  • Are employed in a designated occupation
  • Hold a permanent, full-time job offer

Eligible Occupations (Designated NOCs)

  • NOC 32102 – Paramedical occupations
  • NOC 32124 – Pharmacy technicians
  • NOC 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
  • NOC 42202 – Early childhood educators and assistants

Key Eligibility Requirements

  • Eligible Nova Scotia education completed within the required timeframe
  • Job offer in one of the designated NOCs
  • Wage meeting provincial standards
  • Language proficiency meeting program requirements

Application Process

  1. Confirm education and occupation eligibility
  2. Review job offer and employer documentation
  3. Submit NSNP application
  4. Apply for permanent residence after nomination
